Transmedica is pleased to announce the formation of their Practitioner Advisory Panel.
The panel consists of Dr John Flynn, Dr Jayson Oates, Dr Peter Widdowson, Dr Michael Zacharia and Dr Julie Bradford. It has been formed to assist as a platform to ensure ongoing safety and efficacy of Contura’s range of hydrogel products in use in new and future indications and to assist in the evaluation of a range of other products under consideration for the Australian market.
This team represents over 100 years of combined experience in the use of injectable hydrogel in Australia, since the launch in 2003. Each member has a deep understanding of the safety profile for the product, pre- and post-treatment protocols and how the product integrates with tissue over time. As well, each member has a deep understanding of the requirements for cutting-edge treatments to run a successful aesthetic medical practice.
Elaine Winkler, Managing Director of Transmedica, says, “we’ve assembled this team to ensure that the highest standard of clinical practice continue to be maintained with the use of Contura’s hydrogel products and believe that the diversity of having a cosmetic surgeon, ENT specialist, plastic surgeon and cosmetic physician gives us a balanced point of view on safety and usage.”
